Freshman Year

Things have changed but nothing has changed. Its more confusing than I ever thought possible.

My life will never be the same, yet my life is the same. Life goes on no matter what. You can’t stop it even though sometimes it seems to stop.

I’m caught between feeling whether its okay for nothing to change on the outside, or to change the outside because the inside is so different now. I feel like I need to keep acknowledging the change because I don’t wanna forget. I feel like if I stop thinking about it, I’m forgetting it. My track record with memories is already bad enough that I don’t wanna lose this too. And I don’t know if I can stop myself from losing the memories.. which is the scariest part

I’ve never had to do this and I don’t know how to handle it.
